Editorial Policy
All articles published on ADA Statement are based on publicly available court records, including filings from PACER, CourtListener, and official federal court websites. We do not invent facts, quote parties without verified documentation, or publish unverified allegations outside of court filings.
Source verification: Every article based on a court complaint cites the docket number. Readers can independently verify source documents at CourtListener.com or PACER.gov.
Fair treatment of defendants: Named defendants in active litigation have not been found liable. We include standard disclaimer language in every lawsuit article. We do not contact defendants for comment on routine ADA filings, but will include responses from counsel when provided to us.
Advertising separation: Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising and referral relationships. Our lead generation partnerships (attorney and developer referrals) are clearly disclosed and have no influence on article selection or framing.
Independence: ADA Statement has received no funding from plaintiff law firms, accessibility overlay vendors, or any party with a direct financial stake in ADA litigation outcomes. Our revenue comes from lead generation referrals for legal and technical services, which are disclosed on relevant pages.
Corrections Policy
ADA Statement is committed to accuracy. If we publish a factual error, we will correct it promptly and transparently.
To request a correction, email with the subject line "Correction Request." Please include the article URL, the specific factual error, and supporting documentation.
We will investigate within two business days. If a correction is warranted, we will update the article and append a correction notice at the top of the article stating the original text, the corrected text, and the date of correction.
Corrected articles retain their original publication date. The correction notice is permanent and will not be removed.
Ownership & Funding
ADA Statement is published by Access Standards Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. The company is privately owned and has no investors, venture capital backing, or institutional ownership that would create editorial conflicts of interest.
Revenue model: ADA Statement earns revenue through lead generation referrals. When visitors click "Find an Attorney" or "Get a Free Audit," they may be connected with third-party service providers. ADA Statement may receive a referral fee for such introductions. These commercial relationships do not influence our editorial content.
No paid editorial: ADA Statement does not accept payment for editorial coverage, article placement, or positive mentions of any company, law firm, or product.
Diversity Statement
ADA Statement covers disability rights law and is deeply aware that our coverage affects communities of people with disabilities. We are committed to centering the perspectives of disabled people in our coverage of ADA litigation — including viewpoints that are critical of serial litigation tactics that may not serve the disability community's interests.
We seek to include diverse legal and technical perspectives in our analysis, and we actively seek comment from disability rights organizations, plaintiff's counsel, defense attorneys, and technical accessibility experts.
Ethics Policy
ADA Statement staff members do not accept gifts, travel, or other benefits from sources they cover. Staff members disclose any personal financial interest or relationship that could be perceived as a conflict of interest before covering a topic where such a relationship exists.
We do not cover specific law firms, businesses, or individuals in which our staff holds financial interests. Any such conflicts, if they arise, will be disclosed to readers.
Our lead generation commercial relationships are disclosed on the pages where they appear. Editorial staff have no involvement in or knowledge of specific referral arrangements.
